Oggi vi raccontiamo chi è Antonio Bergamino, grafico e photoeditor del libro Sharks Secrets.
Fotografo di mestiere ed esperto di comunicazione visiva, Antonio Bergamino, con circa quarant’anni di carriera, predilige la fotografia di reportage, subacquea, d’architettura e di scena. La scelta di fare il fotografo non è stata casuale, ma è emersa dal desiderio di raccontare storie con il ‘linguaggio della luce’. Tra gli ultimi reportage quello realizzato a Cuba per raccontare il cambiamento sociale, in Kenya per documentare le miserie che travolgono donne e bambini e in Polonia nei campi di sterminio di Auschwitz-Burkenau. Come fotografo di scena lavora in vari teatri per diverse compagnie teatrali ed è proprio in questo ambiente che ha appreso quanto la luce sia importante per la narrazione. Collabora con diversi fotografi per i quali svolge il ruolo di photoeditor.

Professional photographer and visual communication expert, Antonio Bergamino, with about forty years of career, prefers reportage, underwater, architecture and stage photography. The choice to be a photographer was not accidental, but emerged from the desire to tell stories with the ‘language of light’. Among the latest reports, the one made in Cuba to tell about social change, in Kenya to document the miseries that overwhelm women and children and in Poland in the extermination camps of Auschwitz-Burkenau. As a stage photographer he works in various theaters for various theater companies and it is precisely in that field that he learned how important light is for storytelling. He collaborates with several photographers for whom he plays the role of photoeditor.
